First Knitted Baby Hat

This is my first knit baby hat. It turned out a little big, but not bad for a first attempt. Below is my first attempt of knitting in the round. Keychain Sock.

Babies

I found out that my friend is pregnant. We were trying to get pregnant at the same time, so it's up to me now. I have been looking at baby blankets to crochet for her all day now.

Sewing

My parents came to town from Georgia. My mom brought me a sewing machine and taught me how to sew while they were here. Here are some of the projects we worked on. I learned how to use trim and piping, zippers, and more.

I finished my animal shelter KAL items last night. My total was 2 snuggle blankets and 4 cat toys.

I also just got a Wii last night. I played until my hubby told me he couldn't sleep with the noise. I'm about to go play some more. I absolutely love it!!!!

This is part of the package I will be donating to the local animal shelter. It includes a kitty snuggle blanket and toys. I hope to make one more kitty blanket before I take it.

I made this squidge cloth, which I just love. I will definitely be making more if these.













My next cloth is from the mid-month dishcloth KAL. It is called Finders Keepers. I really like this and plan to make another one in my kitchen colors.










This heart was made during a class I took at That Yarn Shop. I learned a lot in that class. I learned increases on knit and purl and decreases. I also learned how to use a stitch holder.

Football and Dishclothes

I absolutely love this pattern! It was the January KAL dishcloth. I will definitely be making more of these! Today starts the mid-Febuary dishcloth for the KAL. I'm excited to start it.
